I think I found an explanation why adults like food that they didn’t eat at all when they were kids. I found it on Wikipedia: “Taste perception fades with age: On average, people lose half their taste receptors by time they turn 20.” Kids have a much more refined palate and therefore spinach, for instance, are disgusting to them, But when they grow old and their senses are dulled, they don’t realize it anymore.
Don’t worry! You too will start liking salads and dark chocolate and balsamic vinegar … just wait for your taste buds to die out
